老师及课程介绍：Sophia Tao 是Foothill High School 10年级的学生，她在家照顾她的妹妹，还曾在幼儿园里做个助教，教小朋友英文阅读和写作。欢迎7-8年级正在学习本课程的同学参与辅导。

CACC 志愿者免费课程之十：英文创意写作
老师及课程介绍： Christopher Song 是Dougherty Valley High School 11年级的学生，他从小学起就开始写小故事，并且已经参加过多次Scholastic Art & Writing Awards比赛。他在英文和新闻学方面成绩优异，并于上个暑假在UC Berkeley学习创意写作。他将指导学生如何建构人物和角色、发展故事情节和探索不同的写作主题，欢迎6-8年级喜欢通过写作来表达创造力的同学参与辅导。

CACC Chinese School Volunteer Extracurricular Tutoring Course Registration is open now! Please read the below course information carefully and fill out the registration form. Thank you for signing up!
Course 1: Algebra I
Teacher and course introduction: Sophia Tao is a 10th grade student at Foothill High School. She takes care of her sister at home and has worked as a teaching assistant in kindergarten, teaching children English reading and writing. Students in grades 7-8 who are currently studying this course are welcome to participate in tutoring.

Course 2: Chinese 2
Teacher and Course Introduction: Qingyi Mao is a 9th grade student at Amador Valley High School. She is very good at Chinese and her teaching mainly focuses on vocabulary and reading. Students in grades 4-5 who are learning Chinese are welcome to participate in the tutoring.
Tutoring time: 6:00 to 6:50 PM every Friday night, excluding holidays

Course 3: Elementary School Mathematics
Teacher and Course Introduction: Elin Cheng is an 8th grade student at Fallon Middle School. She is a member of the school speech and debate team and the golf team. She is currently studying Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. She plans to tutor students in grade 5 and below in mathematics.
Tutoring time: 7:00 to 7:50PM every Friday night, except holidays

Course 4: Middle School Mathematics (6-7)

Course 6: Geometry
Teacher and Course Introduction: Maxwell Liu is a 10th grade student at Emerald High School. He has been on the Fallon Middle School MATHCOUNTS Team for three years in middle school. Math is one of his favorite courses. He plans to tutor students who are currently studying Geometry to improve their academic performance in this course. Students in grades 6-8 who are currently studying this course are welcome to participate in the tutoring.

Course 7: Drawing
Teacher and Course Introduction: Cara Li is a 10th grade student at Amador Valley High School. She has been studying painting for six years and has won some art competitions such as the California Coastal Art Competition. She plans to show how to draw Pokémon, Sanrio, and other cartoon characters. Students in grade 5 and below are welcome to participate in the tutoring. You will see the huge Pokémon collection of her sister and friends.
Tutoring time: 5:00-5:50PM every Wednesday night, except holidays

Course 8: Piano Tutoring
Teacher and Course Introduction: Jane Ma is an 11th grade student at Dougherty Valley High School. She likes playing piano, listening to music and exercising. She has been playing piano for 10 years (did not stop during COVID) and received an excellent advanced certificate in grade 9. She is willing to guide students in piano practice. Students who are learning piano are welcome to participate in tutoring.

Course 9: Biology
Teacher and Course Introduction: Lily Zhou is a 12th grade student at Castro Valley High School. She likes biology very much, participates in many extracurricular activities, and has been a teacher at CACC for two consecutive years. She has completed AP Biology and is eager to share her learning experience. Students in grades 7-8 who are currently studying this course are welcome to participate in tutoring.

Course 10: English Creative Writing
Teacher and Course Introduction: Christopher Song is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. He’s been writing short stories since elementary school, and competing in Scholastic Art & Writing for multiple years. He has excellent grades in English, journalism, and has learned creative writing at UC Berkeley over the summer. In this writing course, he will tutor students in constructing characters, plot, and exploring themes. Anyone that enjoys expressing their creativity through writing is welcome to join!
Tutoring time: 6:00-6:50PM every Wednesday night, excluding holidays
