How do I change my Profile and Preferences? Your profile and preference information are stored in CACC database after you have registered. You can change all your settings except for username by clicking Profile. Back to top |
The times are not correct! You can select a proper timezone in Profile to match the time in your local area. However, CACC currently does not handle the changeovers between standard and daylight saving time. Back to top |

Who is organizing the school? The school is sponsored and organized by CACC (Chinese American Cooperation Council), a non-profit organization headquartered in Pleasanton. Ms. JingJing Xu is the president. Back to top |
Who is in charge of the school? The school Principal is Mr. Weiwei Guo, the vice president of CACC. Ms. Shirley Zeng is the vice Principal of Administration and Ms. Lisha Kang is the vice Principal of Education. Back to top |
Who is managing the school? The school has several committees under the Principal and vice Principals. They are Safety, Education Administration, Publication, Program Evaluation, Textbooks, and Parent-Student Committee. All members in the committees are volunteers. Back to top |
Where is the school? CACC Chinese School currently rents Thomas Hart Middle School at 4433 Willow Rd. in Pleasanton as the hosting site. Back to top |
Could I get refund if I decided to withdraw? Prior to 12am on 9/18/2006, student families may withdraw classes in their own CACC account. The cost of text book will be deducted from the total credit for applicable classes. Refund checks will be issued in October. The processing fee for refund is 5% of the final refund amount. What are age ranges for and beginner and intermediate enrichment classes? General speaking, age 5 to 8 as beginner and 8 and older would be intermediate. Please keep in mind that each child is a unique individual, we strongly recommend parents sign up classes according to a child’s ability and mutuality. Back to top |
How to decide my child's Chinese level? For current student, we suggest you to talk to your child’s teacher to find out the appropriate level to apply. Also you can refer to our Chinese Language Syllabus to get a general idea. On the first day of school, we will conduct a placement test. Some adjustments will be made according to the assessment. Why can't I register? You can not register in the priority period unless you are a PAID member or are a current student. If you are a paid member or a current student but still can not register, you may have a duplicated account and used the wrong one. In this case, please contact us and give us your name, email and phone#. We will get your the right account back and delete the duplicate. Back to top |
What form do I need to bring to school? At the end of registration process, make sure you click the CHECKOUT button. A complete form should contain 3 sections. They are family profile, class registration and parent/student signatures Back to top |
What if I forget the password or username? You can always send a email to CACC ask for it. Please don't open a new account since it will lose all your current status information. Even you forget the userid, you still can give the email or phone number used to open the account, we will help you get your account back. Back to top |
Are the fees listed for a year or a semester? Durations and fees are posted by each class. A tuition is to cover corresponding duration. Back to top |
How to add a new student? Login into your account, goto registration. Select Student Profile on the left to add a new student. Make sure you save the change. A new empty record will be there if you need to add more than one student. Back to top |

How do I sign up a CACC program? Login and click Program & Schedule for a list of CACC programs. If a program is still accepting applications, a SignUp link will be shown. Click it and follow the instructions. Offline signup forms may also be available for download/printout. Click Details link to find out. Back to top |

Which forum groups can I participate? Currently, there are three basic forum groups. After you have registered with CACCUSA.ORG you are automatically in CACC Users. If you are a member of CACC you'll be also in CACC Members. If you are a board member of CACC you have the access to CACC Board Members. Back to top |
How do I create a new topic in a forum? Easy. Click Forum, choose a forum group, click and enter subject and message text. The subject you entered becomes a new topic. Back to top |
How do I reply to a topic in a forum? Click Forum, choose a forum group, select a topic from the topic list, click button and enter subject and message text. Back to top |
How do I create a poll? When you create a new topic, you'll see (if you have the rights) Add a Poll form below the main posting box. You should enter a title for the poll and at least two options by clicking Add option button. You can also set a time limit for the poll, 0 for infinite poll. There will be a limit to the number of options you can list. Back to top |
Why can't I access a forum? Some forums may be limited to certain users or groups. To view, read, post, etc. you may need special authorization, only the forum moderator and admin can grant this access. Back to top |
Why can't I vote in polls? Only registered users can vote in polls. If you have registered and still cannot vote then you probably do not have appropriate access rights. Back to top |
